Challenge
Almond Marketing work with a building, maintenance and home improvement SME business based in London and covering the South East of England. Their team delivers a range of projects to homeowners including kitchen and bathroom fitting, painting and decorating, extensions and loft conversions. To grow, the business has a consistent requirement for securing high-quality online leads often in the face of intense local competition.
Solution
The Almond Marketing team worked in close consultation with the client’s marketing agency to deliver a range of search engine optimisation services on a retained basis. Our role was to build on the client website’s strong local search results to continually improve conversion rates. This was based on the challenge presented by directory sites such as CheckaTrade and TrustATrader. Our ongoing investigations included building the user experience, improving keyword targeting and developing other website elements that would improve conversions.
As a result, Almond implemented changes across key service pages and delivered noticeable increases in organic conversions. One page, in particular, saw a 400% month on month increase in organic conversions following our amendments.
